Prattys Patch
Enjoy The Unique Charm Of Pratty's Patch Pratty's Patch is a unique 150-year-old stone and brick cottage situated in Monsants Road Maiden Gully. Pratty's Patch was built in 1863 by John Fellows to replace a smaller bark hut constructed about 3 years earlier by John and his convict wife. Pratty's Patch Bar & Restaurant was made into a restaurant during the early 1980s. The large function room was extended ten years later and the public bar was added in 1996. Shelmerdine Vineyards - Heathcote
The first vineyard was planted at Tooborac in Central Victoria, during the rush for gold in the 1850's. In 1954, the Shelmerdine family commenced farming at Tooborac on the family grazing property ‘Merindoc'. In 1994 we planted the first of our now 45 acres of vines. In 1997, we found and planted 135 acres on a magnificent property at Colbinabbin, to the north of the Heathcote township, on the famed, red, Cambrian soils of the Mount Camel Range.
Willoughby Bridge Vineyard has now become an integral part of the Shelmerdine Heathcote story, producing characteristically rich and flavoursome red wines. In 2004 we opened our rustic yet stylish and comfortable Cellar door, and in 2006, the accompanying ‘Whistler Café and Garden'. There we invite you to experience the fruits of the vision of those who foresaw Heathcote's future as one of the great wine regions of Australia, and indeed, the world.

Impressive Victorian buildings line the wide streets of Bendigo, as a reminder of the rich history built from one of the world's most exciting gold rushes. Today there are new treasures to be discovered in this thriving city. Bendigo is a place where art, culture, food, wine and heritage attractions are in the abundance, as was the gold of the late 1850's.
Discover hidden treasures inside one of Bendigo's most beautiful buildings - the Historic Post Office. It now operates as the Bendigo Visitor Information Centre.
A visit to the centre is the best place to start your explorations of Bendigo. You'll be greeted by a friendly local who will be able to offer you a wealth of information to ensure your visit is full of experiences that suit your interests!
Visitor maps, guide books, brochures and self-guided trail material can all be obtained from the Bendigo Visitor Information Centre. So too can a great variety of local product and souvenirs to ensure your visit to Bendigo is memorable.
